Swan View Cricket Club sets itself apart because it's not just about the cricket, it is about the experiences. While many clubs just rock up and play, Swan View is driven by hosting great events, bringing people together and sharing moments that members actually look forward to. Whether it’s Thursday night dinners, Golf or Lawns Bowls Days, Games Nights, or our Annual Quiz Night, these events give members something to participate in, not just attend.

Building a strong social atmosphere, breaking down barriers, encouraging interaction, and making it easier for people to connect beyond just cricket. The club loves seeing players, partners and friends forming friendships through shared activities, a bit of banter, and memorable experiences. With the goal being to create a welcoming, energetic, and tight-knit community.

Ultimately, the club events build culture and create a space where people feel included, engaged, and excited to come back, which is what really makes our club stand out.

Most importantly it is about getting around your mates and getting excited about the upcoming season. Making new players feel welcome and getting family and friends involved in the club.

Whether it is Thursday night Selection Dinners, Friday night Sundowners or Sunday afternoon Sessions the club comes alive in the Summer time.

Thursday night is a free dinner for all players, with team announcements, the barrel and the late night quiz.

Friday night is Junior Master Blasters, Night Cricket and the BBQ cranking with burgers and bangers.

Sunday afternoons are for enjoying the Women's matches in the sun with a refreshing beverage and some banging tunes.

Be sure to get down to Brown Park this Summer, its going to be on.

The club host multiple events during the year that bring players, partners and friends together for an action packed fun night for all.

After the match go down to one of the club's sponsors to hear about the days results, hand out the match day sponsors awards, get a feed and catch up with your mates.

Whether we are at the Swan View Tavern, Commercial Bar and Kitchen or Chapel Farm it is always a good time.

At the End of the Season we celebrate all our great performances at our two events, the Maurice Cox Medal which is the Captain's Voted Award which is a fun night reviewing the season's individual performances, reliving the funny moments that have happened over the season and enjoyed with some drinks and a dress up theme and the Club Awards Night which is our more formal night where we present the trophies to the individuals who performed well during the season and recognise our Club Person's of the Year.

Whether you are a pro or a hacker, everyone is welcome in the Swan View Cricket Club Social Golf Club.

With a number of events during the year, we get out on the course in all types of weather and have a good laugh, with plenty of mulligans, 3 putts and swing and misses.

Each year in January we honour club legend Maurice Cox who sadly passed away in 2019 with a raising of the scotch, his favourite drink.

Maurice was not only a great bowler but even better club person and due to the work and time Maurice and his wife Cathy put into the club is a major reason why the club is strong today.

All the great training initiatives, coaching, events, equipment and infrastructure upgrades do not occur with the help of all our club people in fundraising.

Whether it is cooking a sausage at a Bunnings Sausage Sizzle, selling a raffle book or two from Bendigo Bank, attending our events and getting involved in the activities or finding a new financial sponsors, everyone's contribution helps.
